VI Peel recovery guide
The VI Peel is one of the most effective chemical peels available today — safe for all skin types and designed to improve tone, texture, and clarity. At Aesthera Bloom, many of our clients love it for softening fine lines, reducing discoloration, refining pores, and achieving an overall radiant glow.
But what happens after the treatment? Here’s what you can expect:
Day-by-Day Experience
Day 1–2:
Skin may feel slightly tight, warm, or sensitive — similar to a mild sunburn.
Your skin will look normal at first; visible peeling hasn’t started yet.
Day 3–5:
Peeling typically begins around the mouth and chin, then spreads outward.
Sheets of skin may lift; this is normal! Avoid picking or pulling — let it shed naturally.
Skin may look patchy or uneven during this phase.
Day 6–7:
Most of the visible peeling subsides.
New, fresh skin starts to emerge — smoother, clearer, and more even-toned.
Week 2 and Beyond:
Skin looks brighter, more refined, and radiant.
Continued improvements occur over the following weeks as collagen production increases.
Aftercare Tips
Use only the post-peel products provided — they’re designed to support healing.
Stay out of direct sun and apply broad-spectrum SPF daily.
Do not exfoliate, scrub, or pick at peeling skin.
Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer.
